An STCW Proficiency in Fast Rescue Boats training course gives delegates knowledge in all aspects of rescue, handling, manoeuvring ,and driving a fast rescue boat (FRB) in various conditions and situations. The course also covers righting an FRB after capsizing.

Prerequisites

In order to complete an STCW Proficiency in Fast Rescue Boats training course, delegates must hold a Certificate of Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats (other than FRB) (STCW Regulation VI/2, paragraph 1), or a UK-approved Lifeboatman certificate, or other national equivalent.
