The course contain A) A project work project where the students execute a laboratory or field project to answer a biochemical questions. The project includes planning, sampling, processing, compilation and a written and oral presentation. .B) Extended theory block focusing on acidification and turnover of metals and other environmental contaminants in aquatic ecosystems.
180 ECTS credits including Aquatic ecosystems 5BI180, 7,5 ECTS. Proficiency in English equivalent to Swedish upper secondary course English A/5. Where the language of instruction is Swedish, applicants must prove proficiency in Swedish to the level required for basic eligibility for higher studies.
