Special emphasis is placed on tools and methods for analysis, evaluation and design of human–machine systems. You will further learn how to apply human factors engineering theories and methods to address a real-life problem as part of a case study, in which you get to describe, exemplify and reflect upon how human element aspects affect safety, performance and sustainability in maritime work environments today and in the future.
