Cláudia Delgado has a background in marine biology, specifically on physiology of marine reptiles. After obtaining her PhD she became active in international projects, mainly dealing with research management and training and capacity development. She has a special interest on the use of digital tools to promote training. She joined the Marine training Unit in January 2023 to take on its overall coordination, as well as contributing to the training component of the several projects the Marine Training Unit is involved with.
