The master's degree in Coastal Management is an official qualification adapted to the European Higher Education Area, the general goal of which is to train professionals and researchers specialised in all areas related to the management, use and development of coastal zones, paying special emphasis to the interdisciplinary nature of these.

The first year consists in fundamental modules. The second year contains Professional Practices and a Thesis.

Prerequisites

The Master's Degree in Marine Cultures is especially recommended for students who come from scientific degrees or bachelor's degrees, and who have basic knowledge of physics, biology, veterinary science, engineering, business and marine science, as well as an intermediate level of English. The interdisciplinary nature of the master's degree advises that students who wish to
take it have the ability to interrelate information from different areas of knowledge, ease of understanding of processes from different perspectives, as well as ability to use computer programs for data processing and basic knowledge of how it works
of laboratories for experimentation.
