The Department of International Commerce aims to cultivate experts with professional knowledge, which is in high demand in today's International community. For students to develop the professional knowledge and ability to command foreign languages, we provide specialized curricula including commercial law, trade policy, trade negotiation, dispute settlement, International economics, International management, International area studies and foreign language courses. Through these curricula, students will have a general understanding of the International commercial environment, and knowledge of English, Chinese and Japanese necessary for commercial practice. The programme includes an introduction to the marine industry, where the role of shipping in international transportation or international logistics and explains definition, kind and feature of shipping services and industries
