Marine management is becoming ever more challenging and complex. Global factors such as climate change, the loss of the Arctic ice cap and increasingly globalised trade in seafood are all having a huge impact. This has generated a demand for graduates with advanced knowledge in this area.
This programme will give you an understanding of marine environmental processes and policies at local, national, European and global scales. Two pathways have been created, one for those interested in Fisheries Science and the other for those interested in Marine Ecology. You’ll graduate with the skills and knowledge to work in a wide range of marine environmental organisations – or continue your studies even further at PhD level.
There are two pathways available:
- MSc Marine Environmental Management (Fisheries)
- MSc Marine Environmental Management (Ecology)
